What the leg covers
Instead of negotiating with an agent you have never met in a port you have never visited, you deal with one desk that already holds relationships along the route.
Every guest entering the park needs an entry permit, and vessels carry their own documentation. Passport details collected, payment through licensed channels, and cards or receipts physically on board before rangers check at Piaynemo or in the Dampier Strait.
Airport meet-and-greet and transfers, provisioning runs from staples to specific galley requests, fuel and water, ferry or speedboat connections between the two, spare-part receiving, and crew-change support with local accommodation either side.
Cape Kri, Blue Magic, the Fam group and the Misool lagoons change character with the tide. Experienced local guides placed on board for the leg, or your itinerary connected with established operators for guided days.
Many owners position the yacht east with crew only and fly guests into Sorong for the highlight leg. Others skip positioning and charter on site — the desk matches the vessel to the party rather than pushing what is available.
