Port Services

A working wharf, arranged before you enter the channel

Benoa is Bali's only harbour set up to take large yachts against a wharf. It is also a working port shared with cruise ships, ferries and cargo — so berth allocation is actively managed and paperwork has to be right first time.

In short

No shore agent can honestly promise a specific berth months out — allocation always sits with the port and marina operators.

  • What we can do is secure the allocation in writing as early as it is issued.
  • Then monitor it against the port schedule as cruise calls move.
  • And hold a monitored anchorage fallback, so the call is never uncovered.

What the service covers

Five things handled on the wharf

Benoa sits ten minutes from Nusa Dua and thirty from the airport, which makes it the natural staging stop toward Komodo — but only if the shore side is arranged in advance.

Berth booking, with a fallback

The request is lodged with LOA, beam, draft, air draft, power and water needs. You are told plainly which of three you have: a true alongside berth, a med-moor position, or a monitored anchorage.

Line handling on arrival

A shore coordinator and experienced line handlers on the wharf ahead of your ETA — lines, fenders against a commercial-grade wharf face, gangway rigging.

The harbour interface

Harbourmaster, customs, immigration, quarantine and the port operator's commercial office, coordinated through licensed agents as one sequence.

Berth security & shore watch

Gangway control, visitor logging and night watch through the group's maritime security team, booked per shift and scaled to the stay.

Berth-side logistics

Provisioning to the wharf, bunkering with approved suppliers, waste and sludge through port channels, laundry, and transfers timed to your watch schedule rather than a taxi queue.

The desk is a concierge and booking desk, not the port. Benoa wharf space is allocated by the port and marina operators and clearance is handled by the state agencies — our role is to arrange, coordinate and supervise the whole shore process through licensed agents.

Planning ranges

What a Benoa call costs

Berthing tariffs are set by the operators, calculated on length and duration, and often quoted in rupiah. Treat these as planning ranges, not a quotation.

Alongside berthing tariff

Indicative range
USD 3–8 / metre / day
Notes
Set by the operator. Varies with LOA, berth type, utilities and season.

Agency & berth coordination

Indicative range
USD 600–1,500 / call
Notes
The desk plus licensed agent fees for a standard call.

Full port-call package

Indicative range
USD 1,500–5,000
Notes
Berth, clearance coordination, line handling, transport and provisioning management.

Line handling team

Indicative range
USD 150–400 / movement
Notes
Arrival or departure, including fender and gangway assistance.

Dedicated berth security watch

Indicative range
from USD 200 / 12h shift
Notes
Through the group's maritime security operator. Scales with team size.

Government charges, pilotage where required, fuel and provisioning are passed through at cost with documentation. A written quotation for your vessel and dates takes about a working day.

How to book

Five steps to a confirmed wharf

  1. 01

    Send vessel particulars

LOA, beam, draft, gross tonnage, flag, intended dates, and any shore power or bunkering needs.

  2. 02

    Receive a written availability answer

What the operator can allocate for your dates, the fallback if wharf space is tight, and a full quotation.

  3. 03

    Confirm and pay the deposit

On confirmation the coordination schedule is locked and the agent appointed for clearance.

  4. 04

    Get the pre-arrival pack

Approach notes, tide and channel guidance, contact list, document checklist and the arrival-day timeline.

  5. 05

    Arrive to a working wharf

Coordinator and line handlers in place, officials scheduled, transport standing by.

Two to four weeks is a comfortable minimum. For July and August, holiday periods, or calls coinciding with major events in Bali, six to eight weeks is safer — wharf space and security teams both get committed early.

Confirm your berth before you sail

The difference between a smooth Benoa call and a frustrating one is decided before the yacht reaches the channel. Send particulars and dates, and you get a written availability answer and quotation in about one working day.
